The 1st Networking Event in Norway

Place: The Residence of Ambassador of Norway
Outline: The first network meeting for Japanese researchers in Norway was held in Oslo at the Ambassador’s Residence. This gathering was co-organized by the Embassy of Japan in Norway and JSPS Stockholm Office. H.E. Ambassador Toshio Kunikata offered opening remarks, which was followed by the greetings of Director Hideo Akutsu. Then, thirteen Japanese researchers gave a brief self-introduction and exchanged information on research and life there. Attendees also expressed their opinions on how they could get acquainted with each other and how to activate this kind of activities.
