Welcome!
The JSPS Alumni Club in Denmark (ACD) was established in 2015 by the initiative of former JSPS fellows, with the support of the JSPS Stockholm Office. The current number of members is 60. The ACD organizes symposia on various themes, the Japan Alumni Researcher Assembly, the annual General Assembly and Board Meetings. The ACD also has its own newsletter, which is sent to all members by e-mail. The rules and regulations are stipulated in the articles of the club.

Annette Skovsted Hansen
Chair, JSPS Alumni Club in Denmark (ACD)
Message from ACD Board Chair
It is with great pleasure that I embark on my tenure as Chair of the JSPS ACD after 5 years on the board. Elected as chair of the JSPS ACD for only one year, I will continue the work of previous chairs together with the new vice-chair Professor Dong. Our focus will be on the networking potential of the club including exchange of ideas for the most fruitful collaborations with Japan within all disciplines from computational chemistry and physics to Japan Studies and the social sciences. The JSPS Alumni Club Denmark is an inspiring network of researchers with an interest in collaboration with researchers in Japan. The ACD members come from all over the world and are based in Denmark. Through various activities such as the JSPS Alumni Researcher Assembly (JARA) – and the 10th anniversary celebration of our club, I look forward to enhancing the potential for collaboration with each other, other alumni clubs, Japanese researchers, and the JSPS. We always welcome new members, who have already been to Japan with JSPS, and associate members, who would like to know more and participate in our activities.
