”Fermented Foods and Health in Japan and Europe: Current Concepts and Future Perspectives” – a seminar organized by the JSPS Alumni club in Finland was held at the University of Turku on December 12. This time, we got to hear interesting lectures by Professor Akihito Endo (Tokyo University of Agriculture), Dr Arkadiusz Zakrzewski (University of Turku), Dr Guy Vergères (Agroscope, Bern) and Dr Saska Tuomasjukka (University of Turku). The seminar was hosted by Professor Seppo Salminen (Senior Advisor, University of Turku) and was conducted in a hybrid style, with a total of around 80 participants attending both on-site and online.
