The 8th RIKEN-KI-SciLifeLab Symposium

“Preparing for the next pandemic”
On October 20, The 8th RIKEN-KI-SciLifeLab Symposium was held at SciLifeLab Stockholm.
This symposium event, which was part of the RIKEN-KI-SciLifeLab Symposium Series, addresses the political, organizational and practical aspects of preparedness for potentially upcoming pandemics with focus on Japan and Sweden.
The lectures were presented by Deputy Director Hiroshi Ohno, RIKEN Center for Integrative Medical Sciences and another twelve researchers.

10月20日に、理研-KI-SciLifeLabのシンポジウムシリーズの第8回目である“The 8th RIKEN-KI-SciLifeLab Symposium“がSciLifeLab Stockholmにて開催されました。
本シンポジウムでは、”Preparing for the next pandemic”をテーマに、日本とスウェーデンに焦点を当てながら今後起こりうるパンデミックに対する備えについて、政治・組織・実務の面から取り上げられました。
当日は、理化学研究所 生命医科学研究センターの大野博司副センター長等、計13名の研究者等に講演頂きました。
